Since the owner of this site is a massive privacy fanatic, a privacy policy is somewhat superfluous, but we'll write one anyway.

Sitewide

This site does not use any third-party tracking cookies or statistic systems whatsoever. No Google Analytics, no Sitemeter, nothing. The server records standard browser information in server logs, retrievable by the webmaster, but every site on the internet does that. These logs are never disclosed to anyone other than the webmaster.

Scripts and static content for this site are served from the domain cdn.fur.vc. This is a legitimate domain, owned and managed solely by the webmaster, so it can be trusted, and it is held to the same exceptionally strict privacy policy covering Lupinia.

As of the last update to this file, there is one exception, and that is on Gallery item pages. As part of an experiment with comment systems, a third-party comment script called Disqus was installed in the gallery. However, it was quickly discovered that Disqus uses third-party tracking cookies and analytics systems, which were not disclosed in any of the system's documentation, so Disqus will be removed in the next Gallery template modification. In the meantime, blocking these tracking cookies is highly recommended.

User Accounts

User accounts may be created, using only as much information as you supply. A valid email address is required to activate your account, but it is absolutely never shared with third parties for any reason, nor is it used for anything other than account maintenance and direct communications.

Birthdate

The mature content filter for non-logged-in users requires a valid birthdate. This is not stored in any way, once it is processed by the filter script.
